Ivan Michael Blackstock is a British multidisciplinary artist, choreographer, and director renowned for his innovative work that blends street dance with performance art to address themes of identity, race, and urban culture. Born and raised in London, Blackstock’s practice draws heavily from his experiences in inner-city environments and street dance communities, using these influences to create performances that challenge traditional notions of Black masculinity and explore complex social issues.
