Willy Vanderperre's First Ever Solo Show in Europe

In 2018, celebrated Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre held his first solo exhibition in Europe at 180 Studios, 180 The Strand, London. Titled Prints, Films, Posters and More, the exhibition offered a deep dive into Vanderperre’s prolific career, showcasing over 50 works that spanned both his fashion photography and personal projects.

The exhibition featured an eclectic range of presentations, from black-and-white portraits taped directly onto the walls to large framed photographs and skateboard decks. Highlights included his iconic fashion images of muses like Kate Moss and Julia Nobis, as well as previously unpublished works. Vanderperre aimed to create an immersive experience, blending new and old works to evoke strong emotional responses from visitors, drawing connections between his diverse projects across fashion and fine art.

Running from February 17 to March 17, 2018, the exhibition reflected Vanderperre’s unique vision, known for challenging traditional boundaries and presenting fashion imagery as fine art
